In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Total Verses : 99 - Listen to Recitation of this Surah with Translation

Ayah: 1
Arabic:	الَرَ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ
Yusuf Ali:	A. L. R. These are the Ayats of Revelation,- of a Qur'an that makes things clear.

Ayah: 2
Arabic:	رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوْ كَانُواْ مُسْلِمِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah's will) in Islam.

Ayah: 3
Arabic:	ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلْهِهِمُ الأَمَلُ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge(undeceive them).

Ayah: 4
Arabic:	وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلاَّ وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
Yusuf Ali:	Never did We destroy a population that had not a term decreed and assigned beforehand.

Ayah: 5
Arabic:	مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	Neither can a people anticipate its term, nor delay it.

Ayah: 6
Arabic:	وَقَالُواْ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
Yusuf Ali:	They say: "O thou to whom the Message is being revealed! truly thou art mad (or possessed)!

Ayah: 7
Arabic:	لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلائِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	"Why bringest thou not angels to us if it be that thou hast the Truth?"

Ayah: 8
Arabic:	مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلائِكَةَ إِلاَّ بِالحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُواْ إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	We send not the angels down except for just cause: if they came (to the ungodly), behold! no respite would they have!

Ayah: 9
Arabic:	إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).

Ayah: 10
Arabic:	وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الأَوَّلِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	We did send messengers before thee amongst the religious sects of old:

Ayah: 11
Arabic:	وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	But never came a messenger to them but they mocked him.

Ayah: 12
Arabic:	كَذَلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	Even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners -

Ayah: 13
Arabic:	لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الأَوَّلِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	That they should not believe in the (Message); but the ways of the ancients have passed away.

Ayah: 14
Arabic:	وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاء فَظَلُّواْ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	Even if We opened out to them a gate from heaven, and they were to continue (all day) ascending therein,

Ayah: 15
Arabic:	لَقَالُواْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery."

Ayah: 16
Arabic:	وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاء بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders;

Ayah: 17
Arabic:	وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ
Yusuf Ali:	And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil:

Ayah: 18
Arabic:	إِلاَّ مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
Yusuf Ali:	But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see).

Ayah: 19
Arabic:	وَالأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
Yusuf Ali:	And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things indue balance.

Ayah: 20
Arabic:	وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible.

Ayah: 21
Arabic:	وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلاَّ بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
Yusuf Ali:	And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due andascertainable measures.

Ayah: 22
Arabic:	وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance),though ye are not the guardians of its stores.

Ayah: 23
Arabic:	وَإنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away).

Ayah: 24
Arabic:	وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind.

Ayah: 25
Arabic:	وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
Yusuf Ali:	Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge.

Ayah: 26
Arabic:	وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Yusuf Ali:	We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape;

Ayah: 27
Arabic:	وَالْجَآنَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ
Yusuf Ali:	And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind.

Ayah: 28
Arabic:	وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Yusuf Ali:	Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape;

Ayah: 29
Arabic:	فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	"When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."

Ayah: 30
Arabic:	فَسَجَدَ الْمَلآئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together:

Ayah: 31
Arabic:	إِلاَّ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves.

Ayah: 32
Arabic:	قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلاَّ تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	(Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?"

Ayah: 33
Arabic:	قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
Yusuf Ali:	(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."

Ayah: 34
Arabic:	قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
Yusuf Ali:	(Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed.

Ayah: 35
Arabic:	وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Yusuf Ali:	"And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment."

Ayah: 36
Arabic:	قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised."

Ayah: 37
Arabic:	قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	(Allah) said: "Respite is granted thee

Ayah: 38
Arabic:	إِلَى يَومِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ
Yusuf Ali:	"Till the Day of the Time appointed."

Ayah: 39
Arabic:	قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِي لأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I willput them all in the wrong,-

Ayah: 40
Arabic:	إِلاَّ عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	"Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)."

Ayah: 41
Arabic:	قَالَ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
Yusuf Ali:	(Allah) said: "This (way of My sincere servants) is indeed a way that leads straight to Me.

Ayah: 42
Arabic:	إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلاَّ مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	"For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee."

Ayah: 43
Arabic:	وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all!

Ayah: 44
Arabic:	لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
Yusuf Ali:	To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned.

Ayah: 45
Arabic:	إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Yusuf Ali:	The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water).

Ayah: 46
Arabic:	ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلاَمٍ آمِنِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	(Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security."

Ayah: 47
Arabic:	وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (ofdignity).

Ayah: 48
Arabic:	لاَ يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave.

Ayah: 49
Arabic:	نَبِّىءْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Yusuf Ali:	Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;

Ayah: 50
Arabic:	وَ أَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ الْعَذَابُ الأَلِيمَ
Yusuf Ali:	And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty.

Ayah: 51
Arabic:	وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْراَهِيمَ
Yusuf Ali:	Tell them about the guests of Abraham.

Ayah: 52
Arabic:	إِذْ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلامًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!"

Ayah: 53
Arabic:	قَالُواْ لاَ تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلامٍ عَلِيمٍ
Yusuf Ali:	They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom."

Ayah: 54
Arabic:	قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِي عَلَى أَن مَّسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?"

Ayah: 55
Arabic:	قَالُواْ بَشَّرْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ فَلاَ تَكُن مِّنَ الْقَانِطِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!"

Ayah: 56
Arabic:	قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِ إِلاَّ الضَّآلُّونَ
Yusuf Ali:	He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?"

Ayah: 57
Arabic:	قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?"

Ayah: 58
Arabic:	قَالُواْ إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَى قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin,

Ayah: 59
Arabic:	إِلاَّ آلَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	"Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All -

Ayah: 60
Arabic:	إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَا إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	"Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind."

Ayah: 61
Arabic:	فَلَمَّا جَاء آلَ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	At length when the messengers arrived among the adherents of Lut,

Ayah: 62
Arabic:	قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk."

Ayah: 63
Arabic:	قَالُواْ بَلْ جِئْنَاكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt.

Ayah: 64
Arabic:	وَأَتَيْنَاكَ بَالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	"We have brought to thee that which is inevitably due, and assuredly we tell the truth.

Ayah: 65
Arabic:	فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ وَاتَّبِعْ أَدْبَارَهُمْ وَلاَ يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَامْضُواْ حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	"Then travel by night with thy household, when a portion of the night (yet remains), and do thou bring up the rear: let no one amongstyou look back, but pass on whither ye are ordered."

Ayah: 66
Arabic:	وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ ذَلِكَ الأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَؤُلاء مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning.

Ayah: 67
Arabic:	وَجَاء أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	The inhabitants of the city came in (mad) joy (at news of the young men).

Ayah: 68
Arabic:	قَالَ إِنَّ هَؤُلاء ضَيْفِي فَلاَ تَفْضَحُونِ
Yusuf Ali:	Lut said: "These are my guests: disgrace me not:

Ayah: 69
Arabic:	وَاتَّقُوا اللّهَ وَلاَ تُخْزُونِ
Yusuf Ali:	"But fear Allah, and shame me not."

Ayah: 70
Arabic:	قَالُوا أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	They said: "Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and sundry?"

Ayah: 71
Arabic:	قَالَ هَؤُلاء بَنَاتِي إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	He said: "There are my daughters (to marry), if ye must act (so)."

Ayah: 72
Arabic:	لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِي سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro.

Ayah: 73
Arabic:	فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning,

Ayah: 74
Arabic:	فَجَعَلْنَا عَالِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
Yusuf Ali:	And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay.

Ayah: 75
Arabic:	إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَاتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	Behold! in this are Signs for those who by tokens do understand.

Ayah: 76
Arabic:	وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقيمٍ
Yusuf Ali:	And the (cities were) right on the high-road.

Ayah: 77
Arabic:	إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَةً لِّلْمُؤمِنِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	Behold! in this is a sign for those who believed.

Ayah: 78
Arabic:	وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَابُ الأَيْكَةِ لَظَالِمِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	And the Companions of the Wood were also wrong-doers;

Ayah: 79
Arabic:	فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ
Yusuf Ali:	So We exacted retribution from them. They were both on an open highway, plain to see.

Ayah: 80
Arabic:	وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَابُ الحِجْرِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers:

Ayah: 81
Arabic:	وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ آيَاتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them.

Ayah: 82
Arabic:	وَكَانُواْ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا آمِنِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure.

Ayah: 83
Arabic:	فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning,

Ayah: 84
Arabic:	فَمَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)!

Ayah: 85
Arabic:	وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لآتِيَةٌ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ
Yusuf Ali:	We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will bemanifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness.

Ayah: 86
Arabic:	إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْخَلاَّقُ الْعَلِيمُ
Yusuf Ali:	For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things.

Ayah: 87
Arabic:	وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ
Yusuf Ali:	And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an.

Ayah: 88
Arabic:	لاَ تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَى مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلاَ تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (ingentleness) to the believers.

Ayah: 89
Arabic:	وَقُلْ إِنِّي أَنَا النَّذِيرُ الْمُبِينُ
Yusuf Ali:	And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"-

Ayah: 90
Arabic:	كَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى المُقْتَسِمِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	(Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),-

Ayah: 91
Arabic:	الَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا الْقُرْآنَ عِضِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	(So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please).

Ayah: 92
Arabic:	فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْأَلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِيْنَ
Yusuf Ali:	Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account,

Ayah: 93
Arabic:	عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	For all their deeds.

Ayah: 94
Arabic:	فَاصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah.

Ayah: 95
Arabic:	إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,-

Ayah: 96
Arabic:	الَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ اللّهِ إِلـهًا آخَرَ فَسَوْفَ يَعْمَلُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know.

Ayah: 97
Arabic:	وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ
Yusuf Ali:	We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say.

Ayah: 98
Arabic:	فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ السَّاجِدِينَ
Yusuf Ali:	But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration.

Ayah: 99
Arabic:	وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ
Yusuf Ali:	And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain.
